Hi, i’m sean

As a graphic designer with a B.F.A. from Eastern Michigan University, I bring 2 decades of diverse experience in both design and branding. My journey began in the Great Lakes State, where I developed a deep appreciation for art and storytelling, shaping my approach to design as a powerful tool for communication.

During college, I completed an immersive internship at General Motors, where I had the privilege of collaborating with car designers, sculptors, and experienced professionals to develop brand identities for concept vehicles. This hands-on experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the automotive industry and sharpen my skills in design strategy and branding.

Based in Austin, Texas, I have since worked at various small design studios and advertising agencies, ultimately serving as a senior designer at YETI Coolers. Here, I learned the importance of impactful branding and honed my skills in creating visually striking designs that resonate with their audiences and outdoor enthusiasts.

Currently, I lead a talented team of creatives at Ooni Pizza Ovens, where we have completely overhauled the global brand identity. Our focus has been on crafting a cohesive visual language that includes a new logo, branding guidelines, and color palettes, with an emphasis on innovative packaging design for both ovens and accessories. This initiative not only rejuvenated the brand but also strengthened its presence in the competitive market.

I am passionate about blending creativity with functionality, ensuring that every project not only looks great but also serves a purpose. My approach is collaborative and iterative, drawing on feedback and insights to refine designs and achieve the best results.
